Conjevoi (Spoon Lily) – Alocasia Brisbanensis
The Conjevoi is native to the rainforests of Eastern Australia. It may grow to 2 meters tall with 70 cm leaves. Being a rainforest plant, it requires full shade to filtered sun. A moist well-drained planting medium rich in mulch and peat moss should be prepared. It can survive happily as an indoor plant with proper care and requires bright sunlight but not direct sun. Don’t over-water, however misting will increase humidity which the plant enjoys. They are heavy feeders – a balanced 20-20-20 fertilizer is recommended during the warmer months.
