Cordyline Firestorm – Cordyline Fruticosa Firestorm
Cordyline Firestorm is very adaptable and can be planted in full sun or heavy shade. It adds a brilliant splash of colour to the tropical garden and helps to fill in areas to create the jungle effect. The intense dark red leaves with irregular splashes of pink are like nothing else in your tropical garden. It will eventually grow to 2 meters and with care survives happily as an indoor plant. Again a well-drained rich soil with some added peat moss and mulch and be sure not to let dry out in summer. Mass planting makes a stunning effect. Pruning to create a shape not too elongated is advised after the growing season. Liquid fertilizer every three months will assist foliage development.
