Cooribah Sunrise is a tropical and sub-tropical ginger that will survive temperate climates provided a sheltered morning sun position is chosen. It will be deciduous in these areas but re-shoots as the soil becomes warmer in spring. Ensure a deep well drained soil is provided with mulch and peat moss mixed in. Keep moist in summer and feed with an organic liquid fertilizer in spring and summer. Avoid frost exposure at all costs.
