Costus Oxley Compic – Costus Oxley Compic
Costus Oxley Compic is a tropical or sub-tropical ginger but will grow in temperate areas given the right conditions. It requires a moist well-drained soil with plenty of mulch and peat moss and a fairly shaded position with filtered morning sun. It is cold hardy compared to many of the other Costus varieties. Stunning red and yellow flowers in summer makes it an excellent addition to the tropical garden. They are heavy feeders during the growing season.
