Croton Mammy – Codiaeum Variegatum Mammy
Croton Mammy has leaves rich in colour of Orange, Red, Green, Yellow and even Black. The leaves are twisted adding to the character of the plant. It can be grown indoors but is an excellent colour enhancer to the tropical garden. It requires bright sunlight or bright indirect light in temperate regions to keep full colour development of the leaves. Again a well-drained soil rich in mulch and peat moss with a high humidity will emulate the Mammy’s natural habitat. It is smaller than Gold Dust with a mature size about 1 meter x 1 meter.
