Heliconia Sublata
Heliconia Sublata is a fairly cold tolerant Heliconia with a growth of 1.5 – 2 meters. It will grow well in warm protected areas even in temperate climates, even though a tropical or sub-tropical plant. A moist well-drained soil with plenty of natural mulch will produce the best growth. As the plant matures flowering occurs in late spring and summer. A very upright heliconia with an abundance of leaves and colourful flowers – an excellent addition to the tropical landscape.
