Madagascar Dragon Tree – Colourama

Dracaena Colourama with its candy-striped leaves makes an excellent addition to the tropical garden. It is resilient as an indoor or outdoor plant, with an erect growth habit, and can be pruned to encourage branching. It is a native of Madagascar where it is found in a variety of climates from dry to wetter regions. It may grow to 1.8 meters – not as tall as Dracaena Marginata. Well drained soils are important and water regularly when first planted. Once established they usually become tolerant to drier conditions. It responds well to an organic liquid fertilizer throughout spring and summer.
