Orange Jasmine – Murraya Paniculata

Orange Jasmine is hardy and drought tolerant and can grow to 3 meters but may be pruned to control growth. It is native to China and Twain. An evergreen shrub with dark green leaves, it has highly scented small white flowers. It can be trained as a hedge or grown as a backdrop to the tropical garden. It needs some protection due to its frost sensitivity. Ideally they require a warm humid climate and rich well drained soil with added peat moss. Fertilize monthly in spring and summer with an organic dressing.
