Ponytail Palm – Elephant’s Foot – Beaucarnea Recurvata
The Ponytail is native to Mexico and provides an interesting feature as part of the tropical landscape. A single palm-like stem arises from the swollen base which is used for storing water. Fine leaves recline from the head which branches as the Ponytail ages. Do not plant within 1.5m of structures as the swollen base can displace concrete.
