Watermelon Palm – Chambeyronia Macrocarpa
Watermelon palm is native to New Caledonia and has a striking red emergent new leaf. It has a clean woody trunk with fat reclining leaves. A very beautiful palm that requires rich soil with good drainage. Does best in a sheltered spot protected from wind.
